Wirral Christian Cancer Fellowship is a group of people from local churches who have had an experience or are currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Those who are walking alongside cancer patients on their journey to wholeness are also welcome.
The group meets on the second and fourth Friday of each month at Redacre, between 3:00 - 4:30pm. The group provides the opportunity to ask questions, explore possibilities and to grow together in loving support, and also to grow in our understanding of the Christian faith and how it helps us and others through times of shock, fear and anxiety. Activities include having fun together, going on outings and learning from one another. There is space to listen to music, watch DVDs, share a meal together, hear each other’s stories and pray together. There is also opportunity for a personal chat and prayer – or just being quiet in the garden or Chapel.
Friendships are not limited to the Fellowship meetings but continue between members through support and prayer.
