St Mary's Church UptonMaking a difference, wherever we are, as we share Faith For Life in Christ
Welcome to St Mary’s
St Mary’s is a thriving church in the heart of Upton, Wirral. We are an Anglican family church with activities for all ages and a whole variety of interests.
We also offer support to people at different stages in life. Whether a time of celebration or a time of crisis, we are here to help. Above all, we are a church that believes Jesus makes sense of the world we see around us, bringing meaning and certainty, and hope for eternity.

St Mary’s remains a place of care and prayer for the community. There are many midweek church and community groups that meet for all ages and stages of life. You can find details via the Calendar below.
St Mary’s takes the safeguarding of children, young people, and vulnerable adults very seriously. We have a parish safeguarding officer: Chris Allen. Chris can be contacted in the event of any safeguarding concerns or disclosures by emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also contact the diocesan team who have a dedicated independent support service. More details can be found using the button below.
We enjoy an average congregation of more than 50 people at The Centre. We meet at 11am on Sunday at 127 Saughall Massie Road and celebrate Holy Communion on the third Sunday of each month with Morning Worship on each of the other Sundays.
