Meet the Team
Malcolm Kydd
Cat Farrell
Becca Johnson
Inga Lanigan
These are the folks on the staff team, but we couldn’t do what we do without the amazing team of volunteers who enable all elements of the children’s and youth here at St Mary’s! For more information about any of the groups and activities, or if you’d like to help with one of the groups, get in touch with one of the team at the Church Office by emailing cyp@stm-upton.org.uk.
Sundays for Children and Young People
Sunday Morning Groups for children and young people run alongside the 10:30am service at St Mary’s Church (except for the first Sunday of the month, which is an All Age Service), and there are children’s activities available at the Centre. Each group helps children to explore the Bible in a way that is suitable for their age in an engaging and relevant way to enable them to develop and own a faith of their own. Find out more by clicking the images below, or here, or contact one of the 0-18s Team at the church office.
Midweek Groups and Activities
We have a variety of midweek groups available for children and young people of all ages, from 0 to 18. These support and enable a wide range of interests and needs, and are run by our 0-18s team alongside a wonderful team of volunteers.

Schools Work
Our 0-18s Team are welcomed into the local primary and secondary schools through our children’s and youth work. They are invited to join in assemblies, lessons and lunchtime clubs, as well as arranging school visits to the church building. St Mary’s Church forms the Chaplaincy Team for Woodchurch High School.
